Phish’s magnificent summer tour has hit it’s last spot before their annual end-of-summer Dick’s run. The P-fish kicked off a three night run in East Troy, WI at the beautiful Alpine Valley Music Theatre last night.
While Sunday is usually reserved for the monster show, Phish dropped a doozy on night one that will be tough to beat on nights two or three. The boys kicked off the evening with “Sand” and “Tweezer” and the rest of the set was pretty much straight fire as well. A “Wolfman’s Brother” was the perfect way to end a fantastic first set.
While set two was light on the deep jams, Trey and the boys kept the hits coming with “Roses Are Free,” “2001,” “46 Days” and more. A three-song encore capped off a run opener that was straight fire.
