Phish returned to Alpine Valley Music Theater for the penultimate show of their 2019 summer tour. After a killer night one, all eyes were on the Phish from Vermont to see what they could deliver on night two.

Fears that the boys dropped all the hits on night one were quickly alleviated with a rockin’ “AC/DC Bag.” The big jam of the first set was a 12-minute plus “Blaze On.” Phish, who had teased the Face Plant Into Rock sample throughout the tour, dropped the Kasvot Vaxt tune “The Final Hurrah” near the end of the set then finished Alpine off with “Character Zero.”

In the second set, Trey, Mike, Page and Fish went deep with a couple of phan phavorites including “Runaway Jim,” “Ghost,” “Golden Age” and “Harry Hood.”

The second Kasvot Vaxt tune “Say It To Me S.A.N.T.O.S.” of the evening sat comfortably in the encore spot.
