Oteil Burbridge and Friends continued their tour last night at the Fillmore in Silver Spring, MD. Oteil has two more shows with his all-star line-up before flying cross-country to San Francisco to re-unite with Dead and Company for Band Together—a benefit concert featuring Metallica and Dave Matthews and Tim Reynolds among others to raise funds for victims of the wildfires in Northern California last month.

Last night’s show at the Fillmore followed the same format as before—two sets with an encore, comprised of a lot of Dead, Jerry Garcia Band tunes and other classic rock gems. Thanks to Tom Libera, we have excellent footage of many of the highlights of the show including Oteil taking lead vocals on “So Many Roads.” When Oteil’s name is in the band, he gets to choose what and when he sings.

Other highlights included covers of Bob Marley’s “Them Belly Full,” Janis Joplin’s “Piece of My Heart,” and CCR’s “Proud Mary.”
