Phil Lesh returned to his hometown venue, Terrapin Crossroads for a ‘Thunder and Lightning’ themed show. The Grateful Dead bassist had a unique crew of friends with lots of Dead under their belts in stow for the special gig including Stu Allen, Scott Metzger, Jason Crosby & Jay Lane.

Phil and Friends started out with a spirited version of the Traffic classic, “Dear Mr. Fantasy” including a killer guitar solo from Scott Metzger. The rest of the show was 100% classic Dead including “Althea,” “Deal,” a mellow-jammy second set and a soaring “Standing on the Moon” encore.
