Phil Lesh and his Terrapin Family Band landed on the east coast yesterday for the first of a pair of shows at the Brooklyn Bowl. Phil and Terrapin Family Band added Soulive guitarist, Eric Krasno for some extra firepower on guitar. Phil and cast of friends are going to be recreating the 6/7/1977 Winterland Grateful Dead show tonight.
Last night’s show didn’t follow a script and featured some tasty covers. Phil, Eric and the Family Terrapin Band busted out classic tunes by The Band, Neil Young, Rolling Stones, The Beatles, Creedence Clearwater Revival and more. The Terrapin Family band, who backed Phil and Bobby last week at Terrapin Crossroads, are becoming stronger every show.
