Nathaniel Rateliff and the Night Sweats landed in Menlo Park at The Guild Theatre last night. Rateliff is on the road supporting his band’s newest release The Future.
During Rateliff’s encore, Mr. Bobby Weir was welcomed to the stage for a four-song encore that included some choice covers including The Band’s “The Shape I’m In.”

Relix is treating fans to a special broadcast of The Complete Last Waltz from November 24, 2012 at the Warfield in San Francisco. The star-studded event recreated The Band’s famous last concert which happened on November 25, 1976 in San Francisco.
While there were 38 total musicians that performed over the course of the 41 songs, the core group looked an awful lot like Joe Russo’s Almost Dead and included Joe Russo on drums, Dave Dreiwitz on bass, Marco Benevento on keyboards, and Scott Metzger on guitar.

Billy Strings hosted String the Halls, a charity event last night at the Marathon Music Works in Nashville, TN. The charity event benefited the Nashville Rescue Mission and featured a ton of special guests from bands such as Greensky Bluegrass and Umphrey’s McGee.

Warren Haynes and The Last Waltz Band pulled into it’s final station this fall on Saturday night in Nashville, TN. The tour finale includes the all-star line-up plus a slew of guests.
The Bridgestone Arena witnessed a rare appearance from original The Band member Robbie Robertson and countless other guests including Nathaniel Rateliff, Margo Price, Darius Rucker, Michael McDonald, Emmy Lou Harris and Vince Gill.
What a historic evening and a fitting end to a fabulous tribute tour. Taper Z-Man reported that “Who Do You Love,” “Chest Fever,” “Helpless,” “Mystery Train,” “Mannish Boy,” “Evangeline,” “Forever Young,” and “I Shall be Released” were the highlights of the evening.
