Bob Weir and his Campfire Band did a pair of shows at Wanee this past weekend and were one of the headlining acts at the festival. As we saw yesterday, Wanee was treated to a rare sit in from Trey Anastasio during Bobby’s acoustic set.
After a remarkable acoustic set including Bob and Trey doing an acoustic cover of Lady Gaga’s “Million Miles”, the rest of Campfire Band replaced Trey for the remainder of the set. Kimock was on fire during, especially during “Jack Straw” at the end of the first set.
For the second set, Bobby crafted a killer set that included “Dark Star > Playing In The Band > Eyes Of The World > The Other One > Morning Dew.” The band came out for a two song encore included an appropriate “Not Fade Away” and “Ripple.”
