Phish’s long awaited fall tour is finally here. The night tour runs through Providence, Uniondale, Pittsburgh, North Charleston and a pop-up show in Philadelphia next week.
Last night, Phish opened the tour in Providence, RI at the Dunkin’ Donuts Center. Among the highlights was a bust-out of the Jimi Hendrix classic “Fire.” The short, but incendiary tune closed the first set. The last time the P-fish played “Fire” was at the Baker’s Dozen back in 2017 for a gap of 77 songs. While not played much in the last decade, “Fire” was a staple in the Phish 1.0 era and has been played by the band 136 times.
Phish also debuted “Maybe” which is one of the new tunes from Vida Blue’s album.
