The P-fish kicked off the first of three shows in Alpharetta, GA before heading back up north to Camden for a pair of shows. If the first of the three sold out shows in Alpharetta were any indication of what is to come, southern Phish fans are in for a real treat this weekend.
Both sets were strong, but the second set was one of the strongest of the tours. What really stood out in night one was four monster jams including a 20 minute “Ghost” in the first set, an opening “Tweezer” in the second set, “Carini” and a second set ending “Harry Hood.” While the whole band was showing a lot of energy last night, Page has emerged as the MVP in my opinion this tour (although a really dug Trey’s guitar solo on Hood last night.)
