An all-star cast assembled to celebrate the music of Jerry Garcia and at the same time raising money for Story Book Adventure this past Saturday night. Story Book Adventure is an organization that brings both music and literacy education to kids around the Inland Empire metropolitan area located east of Los Angeles.

Dubbed A Merry Jerry Christmas Band, the line-up boasted Melvin Seals on keys and vocals, John Kadlecik on guitar and vocals, Oteil Burbridge on bass and vocals, Ed Fletcher on drums and percussion, Brad Rhodus and drums, Halina Janusz on backup vocals and Lisa Malsberger on backup vocals.

The benefit concert featured plenty of Jerry Garcia Band tunes, a couple of Dead tunes and some Dylan and Beatles covers.
