A night after going deep on the Funkadelic classic “Maggot Brain” with Ron Holloway, Gov’t Mule was at it again on Monday night. This time, My Morning Jacket member Carl Broemel jumped on pedal steel guitar for a pair of covers.

The first was one of Radiohead’s hits from their 1997 album OK Computer, “Lucky.” As “Lucky” ended, Warren and Carl started to spin up Dave Mason’s timeless “Sad and Deep As You.”
