It’s a great time to be a Grateful Dead fan. Phil and his Terrapin Family Band are playing festivals across the country and Dead and Company just launched their 2018 summer tour. The extended Dead family, including Tom Hamilton of JRAD and Holly Bowling is also on the loose this summer. Last night, Tom and Holly teamed up for the long awaited Acoustic Explorations of the Grateful Dead show at the Capitol Theater.

With Tom on the acoustic guitar and Holly on the grand piano, the duo jammed for over an hour on just five songs in the first set including a 30+ “Eyes of the World.”

While Tom and Holly teased Help>Slip>Frank in the first set, they delivered it in the second. Ghost Light member, Raina Mullen came out for the last two songs of the night to lend her vocals.
