Hot off the 71 release last yesterday, the Dead have returned to YouTube with their All the Years Live series. The latest footage comes from the spring on 1991 at the Shoreline Amphitheater.

For the second song in the second set, the Dead strutted out the fan favorite cover of “Iko Iko.” Here is what Grateful Dead archivist David Lemieux notes about the performance, “Its first appearance on 5/15/77 in St. Louis was a low-key affair, and it would make rare appearances in 1977-1978, usually later in the second sets. When it came back in the 1980s, it was much peppier, and would often open shows, giving the concert ahead a party vibe from its first notes.”
