This past weekend, the Mountain Sol Festival took over Roaring Camp Meadows, right outside of Santa Cruz, CA. The three day festival was in an idyllic setting and was headlined by Oteil Burbridge and Friends. The line-up for the revolving group of friends included Kofi Burbridge, Eric Krasno, John Kadlecik and John Kimock.

Among the Oteil originals and Grateful Dead tunes was a beautiful “Althea.” In Dead and Co, Mayer always takes the helm on “Althea”—maybe Johnny Lightning should give Oteil a shot at lead vocals next tour?

Watch John Mayer Sit-In with JRAD for “Althea,” “New Minglewood Blues,” & More at Brooklyn Bowl – 10/13/2017 Full Show AUD

It’s a treat to watch Krasno and Kadlecik take turns jamming on the tune as well.

Thanks to skiebus for the great front row footage!
