After taking Thanksgiving off, Dead and Company hit the road to continue their Fall 2017 tour. Despite traveling most likely for Thanksgiving, Dead and Company was ready for action in Detroit with a couple of new tricks up their sleeve.

D&C continued to add more tunes to their repertoire last night with the Dead and Company debut of “Deep Elem Blues.” The classic tune that the Grateful Dead covered early in the band’s history, featured Oteil, Mayer and Weir on vocals.

Never one to miss an opportunity, John Mayer sported a Detroit themed long-sleeved T paying homage to the late rapper and producer from the Motor City, J. Dilla.
