Now that everyone has had enough time to recuperate after New Year’s Eve, it’s time to rev the jams back up again. The middle of January marks the beginning of a series of runs by our favorite artists in paradise. Gov’t Mule, Phish, Bob Weir, Dave Matthews, Widespread Panic and more all are having ‘getaway’ runs in the Caribbean or Mexico over the next few months.

The first to head down south are Little Feat which are in the middle of a run at Jewel Paradise Cove in Runaway Bay, Jamaica. The 15th annual “Feat Camp” also features special guests Jackson Browne, Greg Leisz and The Midnight Ramble Band. Gov’t Mule’s Island Exodus officially kicks off in the same location tomorrow, but ol’ Uncle Warren got down to Jamaica a couple of days early to play with buddies Little Feat.

Last night, Warren Haynes came out to sit in on “Let It Roll” and “Dixie Chicken” with Little Feat among other guests. “Let It Roll” also featured longtime Bob Dylan touring guitarist, Larry Campbell and “Dixie Chicken” had support from the Midnight Ramble Band.
