Archival footage of Gov’t Mule has surfaced recently from over 20 years ago. The clip comes from a program called Launch and features Mule as a three-piece band shortly before bassist Allen Woody passed away.

While early Mule is known for earth-quaking bass lines, punishing drum lines and soaring guitar solos, they were known on occasion to bust out the acoustic instruments. This clip features Mule promoting their at the time newly released album Life Before Insanity. Enjoy a vintage rendition of “Fallen Down.”
