Phil Lesh and Friends kicked off a three night run at the Capitol Theater in Port Chester, NY last week to celebrate Phil’s 79th birthday.
For night one, Phil’s potent line-up included Benmont Tench on keys, John Scofield on guitar, Jackie Greene on guitar, Grahame Lesh on guitar and John Molo on drums.
For night one, Phil and Friends put together two excellent sets of Dead ranging from early tunes like “Mason’s Children” to classics like “Franklin’s Tower.”
