LP Giobbi has entered the Grateful Dead family from an unlikely position—she’s a dance DJ. Originally slated to play at Playing in the Sand with Dead and Co last year, LP Giobbi turned to the interwebs to share her infectious Dead dance remixes.

She recently released an album of Dead remixes that included this take on “The Wheel.”

Listen to Phil Lesh and Friends Kick Off Run at the Capitol Theater – 10/14/2022 AUD

Phil Lesh returned for his annual October/Halloween run at the Capitol Theater in Port Chester, NY. Phil’s run includes 9 dates throughout the month with a couple of different friends lineups.

For the first weekend, Phil’s crew included Ivan Neville on keyboards, vocals, Eric Krasno on guitar, vocals, Grahame Lesh on guitar, vocals, Alex Koford on drums, vocals, Phil Lesh on bass, vocals, John Scofield on guitar, Karl Denson on tenor saxophone, flute, vocals, percussion and Mikaela Davis on harp. Wow.

The Annual Telluride Bluegrass and Country Music Festival took place last weekend in beautiful Telluride, CO. Headlining the festival was none other than Phil Lesh and Friends.

Phil’s friends line-up included Graham Lesh on guitar & vocals, Stu Allen on guitar & vocals, Holly Bowling on keyboards, John Molo on drums and a slew of guest sit-ins including Bela Fleck.
