After a brief tour with the Marcus King Band, Eric Krasno and his band teamed up with The London Souls for a one-night gig at the Ardmore in Philly. While on tour with MKB, King and Krasno would team up every night for a couple of tunes. Both Tash Neal and Chris St. Hilaire from the London Souls came out for the encore to jam with Krasno and his band on Buddy Miles’ “Changes.” The tune was popularized by Jimi Hendrix and Band of Gypsys (which included Buddy Miles on drums and Buddy Cox on bass) at their 1969 New Year’s Eve gig at the Fillmore.
Before Eric welcomed Tash and Chris out for the encore, EKB had a smokin’ set of originals and covers. Some of the covers included Jimi Hendrix’s “Manic Depression” and the Grateful Dead’s “Deal” and “Sugaree.”
