Paul McCartney has kicked off a international tour titled One on One. The tour started in Newark, NJ and made it’s way for one of two nights at the historic Madison Square Garden in NYC last night. At 75 years young, Paul McCartney is embarking on an impressive tour that has North American, South American and Australian dates.
Paul treated MSG to Beatles and solo classics—a whopping 40 songs in total! On StubHub, the tickets for Sunday night’s show are actually pretty reasonable. You can find tickets for as low as $120. That’s three bucks a song from an original Beatle.
After the massive set, Paul came back out for an eight song encore that included a very special guest. Paul welcomes out a legend in his own right, Bruce Springsteen to the stage. It took a while for the crowd to regain composure before Bruce and Paul jumped into “I Saw Here Standing There.”
Paul was so happy with the performance, that they played the song a second time, back-to-back!
Thanks to Jim Powers for the excellent HD footage!
