The Superbowl halftime stage has featured dozens of bands and artists since the early 90s. Paul McCartneys performance at Superbowl XXXIX in 2005 sticks out as a favorite of mine not because of the special effects (although there is a pretty cool pyrotechnics show during Live and Let Die), unthinkable collaborations, or wardrobe malfunctions(that would have been awkward).
