The Superbowl halftime stage has featured dozens of bands and artists since the early 90s. Paul McCartneys performance at Superbowl XXXIX in 2005 sticks out as a favorite of mine not because of the special effects (although there is a pretty cool pyrotechnics show during Live and Let Die), unthinkable collaborations, or wardrobe malfunctions(that would have been awkward). But because it was freakin’ Paul McCartney singing some of his best tunes in front of a zillion people! Does it get better than a packed stadium sining Hey Jude? See for yourself.
