Gov’t Mule’s three-show run at the beginning of March has come and gone, but footage is still surfacing. In addition to a rocking “Lay Your Burden Down > Smokestack Lightning > Lay Your Burden Down,” Warren and Gov’t Mule kept it old school for most of the two sets.

In the first set, Mule busted out an old tune Warren has played countless times with the Allman Brothers Band, “Dreams.” For the first encore, guitar virtuoso, Eric McFadden joined Mule for an epic version of Funkadelic’s “Maggot Brain.” Easily two of my favorite songs, in one show!
