The NYU Skirball Center hosted the Global Citizen: The World On Stage, an event touted as “unique music collaborations, powerful stories and offering bold solutions to end extreme poverty.”

The lineup included diverse musicians from Tom Morello to Regina Spektor to Jon Batiste & Stay Human among others. And yes, papa Warren was in attendance.

The eclectic group of musicians knocked the George Harrison classic “While My Guitar Gently Weeps” out of the park.

Before the ensemble all came out, Tom Morello shared a killer version of “The Ghost of Tom Joad” among others songs.
