Phish kicked off their long-awaited four night Halloween run in Vegas last night at the MGM Grand. Those who traveled far and wide to catch the P-fish were not disappointed.

After a 12-song first set, the boys settled in and delivered the jams in the second set. The second song of the set two last night was an absolutely monstrous “Golden Age” that had a little bit of everything: peaks, valleys and funk. At the 25 minute mark, Trey transitioned into “Simple.” Not too be missed!

While there were many highlights of the show, Phish busted out one of my all-time favorite Hendrix tunes, “Bold As Love” for the encore. Is this foreshadowing a Hendrix album cover on Halloween? I for one will die a happy man if that’s true!

Thanks to Tom Rowles for the stream!
