Update: Thanks to JT/NY for the audio recording!
Phil Lesh and his killer line-up of friends finished up their east coast run at Phil’s east coast home—The Capitol Theater. The line-up included The Terrapin Family Band, Nicki Bluhm, Robert Randolph and a special second set appearance from Jazz Hall Preservation Band.
Last night’s finale was a cover heavy affair and featured the band in costume too boot. Robert Randolph took the best costume award as he performed in what have been a ridiculously hot full-size bunny suit.
Among the covers were Neil Young’s “Old Man,” “Werewolves of London” and “Bad Moon Rising.” Even the Dead song selection had a nod to Halloween with classics like “The Candyman.”
