Phil was joined by a new line-up of friends for an early show in the Terrapin Crossroads Backyard. The cast of friends included Cass McCombs, Neal Casal, Ross James, Farmer Dave Scher, Adam MacDougall, & Mark Levy.

Neal Casal of Hard Working Americans and Chris Robinson Brotherhood, among other bands, might sound familiar to some deadheads out there. He was tapped to compose the interludes for the Fare Thee Well tour last summer. The beautiful, at times hypnotic grooves define Neal Casal’s brand of rock.

You can hear Neal’s style all over this rendition of the Rolling Stones classic “No Expectations.”

Thanks to nowiknowuryder for being on the scene and getting the great footage!
