Dave Matthews Band ended their three-night run at the Gorge last week on the 4th. While DMB is scheduled for a couple more festival shows, including Farm Aid, the Gorge show marked the end of their summer tour and last show until 2018 as the band has said they were taking 2018 off.

The annual Labor Day weekend run at the Gorge is to DMB fans as what the Dick’s run is to Phish fans. It’s always a special set of shows and marks the end of the summer.

Dave welcomed famous Brazilian wind-instrument extraordinaire Carlos Malta for “Say Goodbye” in the middle of their 20-song show. The song starts with an extended drum and insane flute jam thanks to Carter Beauford and Malta.
