Allman Brothers Band Bassist Berry Oakley’s son, Berry Oakley Jr. hosts a weekly blues jam on Sundays in Sarasota dubbed Sensational Sunday Blues Service. Berry jams with the same band, but has surprise guests that join him from time to time. Berry’s band includes RJ Howson, Mike Kach, Pedro J. Arevalo and Mike Fender.

Over the summer, Berry was joined by another son of an Allman Brother, Duane Betts. Duane has quietly become one of the more formidable blues guitarists on the scene today.
