The Devon Allman Project hit the Fillmore in San Fransisco earlier this month to honor Gregg Allman on what would have been his 70th birthday. Devon, Gregg’s son, was joined by Dickey Betts’ son Duane and Luther Dickinson among other guests.

One of the songs the trio of guitarists performed was a smokin’ version of the Allman Brothers Band classic “Blue Sky.” Luther and Duane shine and really bring the 45 year old tune alive again.
