Billy Strings and the Allman Betts Band crossed paths earlier this month at the three day Hoxeyville Music Festival in Wellston, Michigan. The three day festival featured two nights of Strings headlining with Yonder Mountain String Band headlining Sunday night. The Allman Betts Band went on two sets before Bill Strings took the main stage on Saturday evening.

As a special treat for those attending Hoxeyville, Billy Strings made an early appearance and joined Allman Betts Band for a spirited rendition of the Allman Brothers Band classic “Midnight Rider.”

Thanks to Ohio Grown for the great footage!
