Watch Neil Young’s Stellar Farm Aid Set – 9/21/2019 Video

Neil Young’s annual Farm Aid rocked Alpine Valley this past Saturday. The action kicked off with Wisdom Indian Dancers and ended with Willie Nelson and Family. In between was an absolutely stacked line-up including Lukas Nelson and the Promise of the Real, Bonnie Raitt, John Mellencamp and Neil Young.

Neil was joined by his old friends, Lukas Nelson and the Promise of the Real. Neil delivered a vintage set and was firing on all cylinders. From the opening “Are You Ready for the Country?” with Neil on the Piano to the explosive “Rockin’ in the Free World” this was not a set to be missed.

Neil Young and the Promise of the Real played two nights at the Capitol Theatre in Port Chester, NY earlier this week. The impromptu dates were announced earlier this month. The pair of dates at the Cap are being followed up with a pair of dates in Philly tonight and tomorrow.

Neil’s first night at the Cap included some heavy hitters like “Cortez the Killer” and “Powderfinger.”

Young played a few of the same tunes on night two, but through in a lot of other tunes as well.

Neil Young, fresh off Outlaw Musical Festival dates and Farm Aid, added a couple of last minute Capitol Theatre dates. Neil Young and the Promise of the Real arrived in Port Chester yesterday for their first of two nights at the historic venue.

Last night’s 15-son g set included a lot of classics as well a song that Neil debuted earlier in the week at Saratoga Springs, “Eternity.”

Towards the end of the set, Young busted out the heavy artillery with “Cortez the Killer,” “Cinnamon Girl” and “Rockin’ in the Free World.”

Listen to Tedeschi Trucks Band’s Wheels of Soul Tour Finale at Red Rocks – 7/29/2018 Full Show AUD

August is almost here and that means that another Wheels of Soul tour has come to a close. Tedeschi Trucks Band, Drive-By Truckers and the Marcus King Band made their last stop in Morrison, CO at Red Rocks Amphitheatre for their final two shows.

As with all the shows this summer, TTB invited up members from both Drive-By Truckers and the Marcus King Band for some killer covers. The first came about halfway through their set with Todd Smallie, former Derek Trucks bassist, on “Yield Not to Temptation > Turn on Your Love Light.” Marcus King and his crew were the next to come on stage. Check out his smokin’ sit-in on the set closing “In Memory of Elizabeth Reed.”

Finally, Drive-By Truckers’ Patterson Hood and Mike Cooley sat-in for the final encore of the evening, Neil Young’s classic anthem “Rockin’ in the Free World.”
