Watch Phish’s “Fuck Your Face” Dick’s Gag from 2012 – 8/31/2012 Video

To date, Phish’s summer tour has not been endangered by the coronavirus. Never the less, Trey and the boys felt the need to share some classic Phish while millions of Americans are homebound.

On Monday, Phish announced a new series entitled Dinner and a Movie: An Archival Video Series. The series will dig into the Live Phish archives and feature a full length video every Tuesday evening paired with a recipe. The debut concert in the series was the opening evening to an absolutely stellar run at Dick’s.

The first show during the 2012 Dick’s run had a hidden-gag. The first letters of the songs of this show spelled out “Fuck Your Face” before Fuck Your Face itself was played. In addition to having fun with the setlist, Phish was in fine form delivering jam after jam.

The recipe pairing for the night was Sue and Trey’s “Between Me and My Mouth” Vegetarian Chili.

Listen to Phish Rage on Night Two of Alpine Valley – 7/13/2019 AUD

Phish returned to Alpine Valley Music Theater for the penultimate show of their 2019 summer tour. After a killer night one, all eyes were on the Phish from Vermont to see what they could deliver on night two.

Fears that the boys dropped all the hits on night one were quickly alleviated with a rockin’ “AC/DC Bag.” The big jam of the first set was a 12-minute plus “Blaze On.” Phish, who had teased the Face Plant Into Rock sample throughout the tour, dropped the Kasvot Vaxt tune “The Final Hurrah” near the end of the set then finished Alpine off with “Character Zero.”

In the second set, Trey, Mike, Page and Fish went deep with a couple of phan phavorites including “Runaway Jim,” “Ghost,” “Golden Age” and “Harry Hood.”

The second Kasvot Vaxt tune “Say It To Me S.A.N.T.O.S.” of the evening sat comfortably in the encore spot.

Listen to Phish’s Great Second Night in Alpharetta – 8/4/2018 Full Show AUD

Phish played their second night of a three night run in Alpharetta this past Saturday. After a raging night one, Phish was on their way to one of their best three night runs outside of MSG and Dick’s in recent years.

The first set included a bangin’ “Wolfman’s Brother,” a hot “Maze” and a gorgeous “Divided Sky” toward the end of the set. Page and Trey really make the “Maze” a memorable one in the first set.

The second set kicked off with the familiar “Crosseyed and Painless” jam before heading into one of Phish’s newest jams, “Soul Planet.” The P-fish have played it three times this summer since debuting it last NYE at MSG. While the tune is still in it’s infancy, Trey and the boys still have a lot of areas to explore with it.

“Piper” and “Slave to the Traffic Light” were the other highlights from the second set.

Phish continued their fall tour with the first of two shows in Grand Prairie, Tx last night. Livestreams to the show were tough to come by, and it’s a shame, because last night was another blazing show from Phish.

After a jam-packed first set that included a super funky Wolfman’s, the boys turned the jam machine on for the second set. While it wasn’t the extended jam-fest that we have seen in the last few shows, some of the highlights include “Maze,” “I Always Wanted It This Way” and “Bug.”

Phish plays Grand Prairie again tonight.
