As part of nugs.net ongoing effort to provide live music during the COVID-19 shutdown, they have released a gem from Red Rocks last summer. My Morning Jacket, who has gone on a brief hiatus in 2018, returned with a pair of shows at the legendary Red Rocks amphitheater in August of last year.

This show and the one the next evening showed that MMJ hadn’t missed a beat. At the end of a massive 23 song concert, My Morning Jacket front man Jim James promised Red Rocks no repeats the following evening and delivered on the promise.

My personal favorite MMJ tune “Dondante” was played late in the set and the band did not disappoint. Fast forward to 1:30:11 for the simply stunning performance.
