Gov’t Mule and Warren Haynes (AKA the hardest working man in rock), are finishing up a European spring tour before heading back stateside for an extensive summer tour. On July 12th, Gov’t Mule teams up with the Avett Brothers for a subset of their summer dubbed ‘Dark Side of the Mule.’ YES PLEASE!
During their European tour, the Mule rolled into Utrecht, Netherlands for a show at TivoliVredenburg. FaMULEy in Utrecht were treated to a classic first set of Mule with a couple of new favorites including “Sarah surrender” and the rocking “Dark Was the Night, Could was the Ground.”
The second set had a couple of surprises including a “32/20 Blues” with “Black Dog” and “Skin It Back” teases, and covers of the Allman Brothers Band’s “Dreams” and Jeff Beck’s “Freeway Jam.”
