I may only be the second week of 2017, but Marcus King Band is already in the thick of a nearly 30-date winter tour. Their latest stop was the Terminal West in Atlanta. This is Marcus’ final show before he heads down to Jamaica for Gov’t Mule’s Island Exodus this weekend.
If you listened to the smokin’ soundboard recording from 12/29, you’ll notice that MKB’s setlist doesn’t change from show to show as much as say Gov’t Mule and Phish. But that doesn’t mean King and his band don’t bring an entirely different show every night. Besides, how can you not play Hot ‘Lanta when you are playing in Hotlanta?
MKB also celebrated band member Justin Johnson’s birthday with a “happy birthday” tucked into the backhalf of the show.
