Joe Russo’s Almost Dead reunited last night for a three show run at the Capitol Theatre in Port Chester, NY. Russo and his fearless team opened the run in style with a smokin’ 18 minute “Shakedown Street” after a brief “Rock and Roll” played over the PA.

Speaking of ‘smokin’, JRAD delivered a pounding version of Howlin’ Wolf’s blues standard “Smokestack Lightning” in the second set. Other highlights include a bust out of Radiohead’s “Killer Cars” to end the first set and a sit in from Katie Jacoby on the “Tonight I’ll Be Staying Here With You” encore.
