The coronavirus has killed all the spring tours and is digging into the summer tours as well. With the recommendation from the CDC to eliminate gatherings of 50 or more, live venues across the country have gone dark.
While concerts may be a casualty of the coronavirus, live music is still alive and well—online. Musicians who normally pack venues have taken to the internet to stream their live shows. Grand pianist Holly Bowling streamed a show last night from her living room.
Holly’s set included her beautiful takes on Phish and the Grateful Dead. In addition to her renditions of the great jam bands, Holly also treated viewers to her debut of Radiohead’s “Idioteque.”
Set: The Horse > Silent In The Morning, The Wheel > A Song I Heard the Ocean Sing > Weather Report Suite (Prelude & Part 1) > Let It Grow > Wingsuit, About To Run > The Wheel > Let It Grow, Idioteque# > Stella Blue
# first time performed by Holly solo (Radiohead)
Thanks to nugs.net for the stream!
