Tedeschi Trucks Band continued their residency at the Beacon last night, filled with tons of guests. The show marked their 4th show of the run and supposedly their 25th show at the Beacon Theater. North Mississippi Allstars opened up the show which all-but ensured a Luther Dickinson sit-in. Luther’s sit-in with TTB during the 2016 Beacon run marked one of the best jams of last year.

Tedeschi Trucks Band did welcome out Luther for a sit-in and oh so many more guests including jazz and pop pianist Norah Jones, Wilco lead guitarist Nels Cline, Allman Brothers Band percussionist Jaimoe, and Doyle Bramhall II. Luther played the second guitar slot in another Allman Brother Band tune as he did last year with a smokin’ cover of “Statesboro Blues.”

“Statesboro Blues” wasn’t the only ABB tune of the night. TTB treated the Beacon to “Whipping Post” and invited Nels Cline and Jaimoe to sit in on “Ain’t Wastin’ Time No More.”

Thanks again to Sean Roche for the awesome front row footage!
