Tedeschi Trucks Band returned to the Beacon Theater last fall for their annual run at the iconic NYC theater. During the run, TTB based a magical milestone—50 shows at the Beacon. A multi-cam, fan-shot production recently popped up on YouTube of this show.

Joining them on this special occasion were long time friends and collaborators, Jorma Kaukonen & Jack Cassidy.

The Nth Power connected with special guests at Suwannee Rising last week. The guests included Pete Levin (Keys & Vocals), Jennifer Hartswick of the Trey Anastasio Band (Trumpet & Vocals), Scotty Flynn (Trombone) from John Brown’s Body & ODESZA, Jonathan Mones (Flute) from Ghost Note, Maggie Noelle (Vocals) and Greg Erwin (Guitars & Vocals) from Magnolia Boulevard, Daniel Donato (Guitar) and Vance & Melody Trucks (Guitar, Percussion & vocals respectively.)

During their set, Nth power jammed on two of the all-time great tunes—“Terrapin Station > Whipping Post.”

Watch Tedeschi Trucks Band’s Set Closing “Whipping Post” in Boston

Tedeschi Trucks Band closed out their run at the Orpheum Theater in Boston, MA this past weekend.

TTB closed the second set with a killer cover of the Allman Brothers Band’s “Whipping Post.”

Speaking of the Allmans, the Allmans Betts Band will keep the spirit of the original ABB alive at the Orpheum later this week.

Watch Marcus King Shred on “Whipping Post” at Pop Up Show at American Legion Post 82

How cool is this—Marcus King, en route to kick off his tour in Charlotte last week, made a pit-stop in Nashville, TN. With a spare night, King decided to put on a pop-up show at the American Legion Post 82 in support of veterans.

During the show, King went the distance on the Allman Brothers Band’s “Whipping Post.”

Watch Marcus King Join End of the Line Allman Brothers Band Tribute in Nashville

End of the Line, a new Allman Brothers Band tribute act made their debut performance last Thursday evening at the Brooklyn Bowl in Nashville, TN. The band includes keyboardist/vocalist Justin Smith, guitarists Conor Kelly and Adam Gorman, bassist Casey Conway, percussionist Ryan McClanahan and drummer Chase Bader.

A sneak peek at the show courtesy of Relix revealed that End of the Line was joined by a pair of special guests including Marcus King and former Gregg Allman keyboardist Peter Levin. The songs included in the 25 minute preview include “Whipping Post,” “Please Call Home,” “No One to Run With,” and “Not Fade Away.”
