Gov’t Mule rolled down to Asbury Park for a gig at the legendary Stone Pony last week. The Mule was hot off their smokin’ show in Boston the night before.

One of the Mule’s go to jams is “Game Face > Mountain Jam > Game Face.” “Game Face” is a classic Mule tune that starts off with one of the dirtiest bass lines you’ve ever heard. Jorgen Carlsson’s rumbling bass gave way to Warren’s rambling guitar as the band busted into the Allman Brothers Band’s “Mountain Jam.” Warren, Jorgen, Danny and Matt all teamed forces for a huge peak that crashed back into “Game Face” to end the jam.
