All-star supergroup, Alone and Together visited Sweetwater Music Hall last night. The group, now in it’s third incarnation, lists Kevin Morby, Sam Cohen, Eric D. Johnson (Fruit Bats), Joe Russo (Almost Dead) and Josh Kaufman among it’s members.

Josh Kaufman, best known as member of The National, has become a frequent collaborator with Bob Weir in recent years and is one of the musicians who spearheaded the massive Day of the Dead cover project last year.

Alone and Together welcomed the Grateful Dead’s Bob Weir near the end of the first set for a beautiful, solemn version of the Dead classic “Stella Blue.”
