The Ardmore Music Hall hosted a one-night-only supergroup lead by George Porter Jr. to celebrate 4/20. The weed-themed supergroup, dubbed Friends of the Devil’s Lettuce, included Steve Kimock, George Porter Jr., Aron Magner, John Morgan Kimock, Leslie Mendelson and Cris Jacobs.

After the Cris Jacobs Band got the evening’s festivities started, Porter and the rest of the crew came on for two blazing sets of tunes. The repertoire included a whole lot of Grateful Dead and Jerry Band tunes in addition to covers of the Meters, Daniel Lanois’s beautiful “The Maker” and more.
