Billy Strings is zigzagging his way through the US playing at sold out venues and festivals this year. Billy’s calendar stretches into July so far, with more dates sure to come.

Strings kicked off the action at the Capitol Theatre with two shows on January 17th and 18th. On the first night, Billy treated the cap to a beautiful version of the Grateful Dead’s “China Doll.” On the second night, Strings and his band jammed on another gorgeous Dead tune, “Wharf Rat.”

Fun fact: the Grateful Dead premiered “Wharf Rat” at the Capitol Theatre on February 18, 1971.

Thanks to Larry Rulz III for the stream!
