Tom Hamilton’s American Babies teamed up with Holly Bowling, Brendan & Chris from ENJOY! w/ a special guest Matt Wade of Matt Wade Band for a free show at The Anchor’s Bend in Asbury Park, NJ. Asbury Park is one of the more popular spots on the Northern Jersey Shore and has a healthy live music scene. Tommy and Holly hit the boardwalk for this free event billed as “Jams on the Sand” at 6 PM.

Aside from his original work with Tom Hamilton’s American Babies, Hamilton and Bowling share a common love—the Grateful Dead. Hamilton plays guitar and vocals in Joe Russo’s Almost Dead and Bowling has introduced the Dead into her repertoire in the last couple of years.

The super group teamed up for a bumpin’ boardwalk version of “Shakedown Street.” Bowling also played some tunes solo including this brilliant cover of Phish’s “Sand.” When in Rome, right?

Thanks to rdeal1999 for catching all the action!
