The Grateful Dead are back on YouTube with another installment of All the Years Live. The latest stop on the long strange trip is one of the many places the Dead called home—the Shoreline Amphitheatre.
On the Dead’s show at the Shoreline on 6/16/1990, Bobby lead the band in a short but mighty “One More Saturday Night” to close out the first set. Here is what Grateful Dead archivist David Lemieux notes about the performance, “Most Saturday Grateful Dead shows featured One More Saturday Night, one of the few completely Bob Weir-penned songs, words and music. Always ripping great time, when played as an encore it left the crowd dancing, sending them out to keep the party going on a Saturday night.”
Thanks to the Grateful Dead for the footage!
