The Grateful Dead have returned to YouTube with another installment of All The Years Live. The latest footage comes from Carter-Finley Stadium during the summer of 1990.

To close out the second set of their July 10th, 1990 stop in Raleigh, NC the Dead jammed on the Buddy Holly classic “Not Fade Away.” Here is what Grateful Dead archivist David Lemieux has to say about the performance, “Usually attached to Throwing Stones from 1983 onward, Not Fade was played a set closer once Throwing Stones became its partner. Sometimes, though, Not Fade Away would simply appear out of the post-Drums ballad as the closer on its own, and it always went a little deeper when the Grateful Dead did it this way.”
