The Grateful Dead are back with another installment of their fantastic YouTube series, All the Years Live. The latest footage brings us back to summer tour 1990 in Raleigh, NC.
The Dead got the party started early with a first-set “Jack Straw” opener. Here is what Grateful Dead archivist David Lemieux notes about the performance, “Usually a first set opener, Jack Straw contained a powerful jam toward its conclusion, and this one delivers. A stadium show on Brent’s final run with the Grateful Dead, this performance also featured a collaboration with Bruce Hornsby, who’d opened the show.”
Thanks again to the Grateful Dead for the great footage!
