The Grateful Dead have returned with their latest All the Years Live YouTube series this past week. The latest archival footage comes from Carter-Finley Stadium in Raleigh, NC from Summer 1990.

Towards the end of the first set, Bruce Hornsby joined the band for a few tunes. Here is what Grateful Dead archivist David Lemieux has to say about the Dead’s first set “Bird Song”: “Bird Song was the one song that could consistently be relied upon to provide some first-set deep space in the 1980-1995 period. It was always wonderful to hear where the Dead would take this classic Garcia-Hunter song from Jerry’s first solo record.”

Thanks to the Grateful Dead for the footage!
