The Black Crowes are back, not quite with new material, but instead as cover album of classic rock tunes that turn 50 years old this year. The EP, appropriately titled 1972, features tunes from some of rock’s biggest legends including The Rolling Stones, David Bowie, Little Feat and more.

The Black Crowes debuted the EP in it’s entirety to a packed house at the famed Whiskey a Go Go in LA this past Wednesday. After cruising through the EP’s six songs, Rich and Chris Robinson and company added a blazing set of Crowes classics to round out the show.

Fun tidbit about the show—the Crowes sold the first 100 tickets at the doors for $19.72.
